Waste Management Committee
The Waste Management Committee is responsible for ensuring that all waste management functions are carried out in accordance with the Ministry of Environment regulations and to implement Best Practice methods that will extend the life of the Landfill Site.

Horton Township Waste Management Committee is seeking volunteers to participate in the proposed Adopt-A-Road Program for Horton Township. Participants would carry out litter pickup on their adopted Township Road or their adopted sections of a Township Road. This program is an opportunity for environmentally conscious citizens, to make a personal contribution to a cleaner and more beautiful environment within their community.
