MNRF issues Work Permits under the Public Lands Act to authorize certain activities on Crown land and Shore lands.

Timing restrictions for working in water are before July 15 and after September 30 to protect fish and fisheries

Sandbags

Please keep bags intact and in place until the water recedes enough to move.

An Invitational Quote for Sandbag Pick Up has been sent out to be completed within a certain time frame.

Flood Debris

Anny flood debris (washed-up or clean-up) can be brought to the Horton Landfill Site at 2082 Eady Road Free of Charge, with proof of identification (tax bill, driver’s licence, health card, etc.)

Water Available

Water Jugs and cases of Water Bottles are available for residents whose wells have been affected by the flooding.
